The residents of New Beginnings Bridge Housing community were delighted to receive hand-knitted hats and scarves from Rolling Hills! Yes, it may have been 70 degrees, but with colder weather coming in a few days the timing couldn’t have been better.
New Beginnings is a transitional housing project in south Fayetteville that includes 20 cabins and a variety of social services. A great feature of this project, besides helping people make the difficult jump from homelessness to safe, reliable housing, is the way other citizens can get to know them and help. For example, if your class or group wanted to provide a meal for the residents, it can be easily arranged — and it will be greatly appreciated!
