As Rolling Hills moves into the future, we are changing from a committee-driven form of governance to two councils. A Ministry Council, which will discuss and oversee all the ways we encounter God, grow spiritually, make friends, serve one another and build bridges and a Support Council, which will focus on staffing, finances and facilities.
On Sunday, July 10th, we had our inaugural meetings of both councils. After gathering together in our sanctuary after the worship service, we divided into the two groups for conversation. We will develop the details of how these councils will function as we learn more about this process. Also, we will continue to have quarterly business meetings to discuss what these councils recommend.
The meetings were positive, lively and brought a great sense of hope and encouragement to those who attended.
