Yay! The library has been installed and It’s ready for you to come check it out!
The Rolling Readers Little Free Library for Kids is now available at the entrance to the church parking lot! Pat Kienzle and Patty Severino will be serving as librarians, and stocking the library with wholesome reading for school-age readers and read-along books for younger book-lovers.
Please contact Pat or Patty if you have materials you would like for them to consider making available to library visitors. If you have kids in your neighborhood or family who could benefit from materials placed there, please take and share!
The library was provided from a fund established for the benefit of children in memory of Henrietta Holcomb. Henrietta was a member of RHBC from 1974 until her death in 2013. She served through the years as a Sunday School teacher, deacon, minister of education, church parliamentarian, and on numerous committees. Those who knew her especially remember her love for children, her dedication to their care and nurture, and her enthusiasm for helping children broaden their learning through reading.
October 17, 2021, will be the 100th anniversary of Henrietta’s birth in Springdale, Arkansas to Lydia and Wilson Kimbrough. Please help celebrate Henrietta’s legacy by supporting our Rolling Readers Little Free Library for Kids.
